Dream Scholarship

The DREAM Scholarship helps make college more affordable for Henderson County DREAMERs and others who are required by law to pay out-of-state tuition to attend NC institutions. The scholarship awards up to $2,500 per academic year to attend public or private college, which can help level the playing field for students who are often ineligible for many types of financial aid.

Our students are hard-working, contributing members of our community. Previous recipients have used their degrees to become nurses, accountants, engineers, teachers, medical technicians and other professions that are needed.

The DREAM Scholarship is open to applicants who have attended Henderson County Public Schools or otherwise have a close association with Henderson County but are ineligible for in-state tuition.
